About me
Hi guys!
In simple words,
What I am not: I am not a native English speaker and with so many world Englishes around native speakerism is not something that I believe in or encourage. I am not the perfect teacher (is there such a thing as the perfect teacher anyway?); I am human and I embrace my mistakes. I guess I am not even good at selling myself, as you can see.
What I am: I am an individual who grows and thrives on helping you grow and thrive while learning English. I am the teacher who takes professional and personal development seriously. I am warm and patient. I am passionate about nature and clear and smooth communication.
My language teaching path...
As a person who has been learning languages for almost all of her life, I can say I totally understand you and your language learning journey. I am a native Romanian speaker and I studied English and Russian in school. Later in life, I completely and irrevocably fell in love with the Norwegian language (and Norwegian culture, air, mountains...). Currently, I am studying German while still having a secret passion for French. I was a full-time teacher for 8 years, then part-time for 6 years. In 2020, I finally realised that embracing teaching as my primary activity is the thing that best matches my personality, so here I am now.
